Swiss International Gherzi Consulting Organization praised Uzbekistan's economic achievements in recent years, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
Uztextilprom Association hosted a meeting of the Association’s management with a delegation of the Gherzi (Switzerland), headed by Laurent Aucouturier, on March 3, 2020.
During the talks, the issues of implementation of the project "Sustainable development and increase of added value in the cotton industry" in Uzbekistan, implemented by GIZ German Community for International Cooperation, were discussed.
At the same time, the Association's management informed the guests about the current state, prospects of development, production, investment and export potential of the textile industry in Uzbekistan.
The foreign side noted the high economic achievements of Uzbekistan in recent years, as well as the significant growth in textile and garment and knitwear industry, accompanied by numerous implemented projects, a significant increase in exports and improvement of investment attractiveness.
Aucouturier noted that Uzbekistan has created a unique system of cotton and textile cluster in the world, where textile enterprises are initiators of projects.
According to Swiss delegation, this highly defined pace of strategic development of the industry can serve as a role model for the rest of the world.

In addition, the organization has partnerships at the global level, as well as 6 headquarters with activities in more than 80 countries.
