Exports of products via Iran's Hamadan province announced

The export of products through the customs of Hamadan province of Iran increased by 47 percent in term of weight in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020), compared to the year before last (from March 21, 2018 to March 21, 2019), said Director General of Hamedan Customs Administration Morteza Najafi, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to Najafi, about 629,000 tons of products worth $148.1 million were exported to 45 countries through Hamadan customs last Iranian year.

Najafi added that exports of products through Hamadan customs increased by 21 percent in term of value.

"More 175 types of products were exported through the customs of Hamadan province. Raisins, reinforcement, copper wire, ferrosilicon, cement, sanitary ware, pottery products, etc. were mainly exported products," he said.

The official said that as many as 5,600 tons of products worth $29.4 million were imported last year. Imports of products increased by 23 percent in term of weight and 14 percent in term of value compared to last year.

"About 83 types of products imported from 19 countries are mainly equipment and raw materials needed by factories in the area of production," he said.
