Azerbaijan’s Carcioglu Group company, producing medical alcohol and alcoholic beverages has signed a major contract for the purchase of ethyl alcohol from Russia, the head of the company’s marketing department Elvin Gojayev told Trend.
According to him, the contract envisions import of 2,000 tons of ethyl alcohol from Russia’s Bashkiria region to Azerbaijan.
"The raw material is expected to be delivered to the company soon, tentatively at the beginning of next month. The purchased raw material is intended for use in the production of medical alcohol," Gojayev said.
He noted that this contract was signed with the support of the Russian Export Center’s operational headquarters, as well as owing to the implementation of the International Cooperation and Export national project in Bashkiria.
"The contract was signed between the Azerbaijani company Carcioglu Group and the Russian Bashspirt. The deal was made in accordance with the quarantine restrictions," he said.
