The sales value of the National Iranian Copper Industry Company increased by 10 percent in the first two months of current Iranian year (from March 20 through May 20, 2020), compared to the same period last Iranian year, said Managing Director of the company Ardashir Sad Mohammadi, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
According to Sad Mohammadi, the value of company's sales reached 34.3 trillion rials (about $817 million) in two months.
Sad Mohammadi added that this is about 3.12 trillion rials (about $74.2 million) more than in the same period last Iranian year.
The director said that the value of company's sales were 27.7 trillion rials (about $660 million) in the second month of the Iranian year adding during this month, the National Iranian Copper Industry Company sold 34.100 tons of cathode copper.
"However, over the past two months, world copper prices were $1,273 lower than in the same period last Iranian year," he said.
