Georgian Nectar company plans to increase juice exports

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 5

By Tamilla Mammadova - Trend:

Georgian Nectar LLC plans to increase juice exports by 30 percent in 2020, Georgian Nectar exports manager Nata Davitaia said, Trend reports via Georgian media.

"Our plans primarily depend on the global trends. COVID-19 has not essentially affected our output and exports indicators. Only Cyprus, Britain and Norway postponed their orders because of the pandemic, however, we have already resumed partnership," Davitaia said.

As she noted, the company sent the first consignment to Bahrain in 2019 and to Kuwait in January 2020.

"We plan to expand markets in Europe too. We have sent the test consignment to Germany, in the HoReCa segments and we are waiting for their response," Nata Davitaia said.

"Our company plans to increase its export by 30 percent in 2020. Furthermore, as for June 4, the turnover has increased year-on-year”, Davitaia noted and added that negotiations are underway in several other directions.
