About 76,400 tons of products worth $14.1 million were exported from Hamadan Province (western Iran) during 2 months of the current Iranian year (March 20 through May 20, 2020), Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Hamadan Province Hamid Reza Matin said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
According to Matin, during this period, 49 types of products were exported to 18 countries.
Matin added that 38 percent of exported products were agricultural, 28 percent were petrochemical and chemical, 26 percent were industrial, 8 percent were mining products.
"Agricultural products worth $5.43 million, petrochemicals and chemical products worth $3.9 million, industrial products worth $3.67 million and mining materials worth $1.1 million were exported," he said.
The official said that during the same period, 893 tons of products worth $2.79 million were imported to Hamadan Province. About 45 percent of imported products are consumer, 44 percent are semi-finished materials, and 11 percent - equipment.
