About $30 billion is needed for production in the industrial and mining sectors in the current Iranian year (began from March 20, 2020), Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, Mehdi Sadeghi Niaraki said, Trend reports citing the ministry.
According to Sadeghi Niaraki, provision of raw materials and semi-finished materials and spare parts is on the agenda of the ministry.
Sadeghi Niaraki added that ensuring liquidity and necessary working capital, controlling imported products, increasing the export of non-oil products, increasing domestic production are among the programs planned for the current year.
The deputy minister said that in addition, the focus will be on the restoration of decommissioned enterprises, full use of production potential and the production of products that the country needs.
