Iran's Esfahan Steel Company reveals volume of production

Iran's Esfahan Steel Company produced more than 379,000 tons of products in the first two months of current Iranian year (March 20-May 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

“The company produced 121,000 tons of steel girders in two months. The volume of production in the first month (March 20-April 20) was 57,800 tons, in the second month (April 21-May 20) 63,700 tons,” report said.

The company produced 83,500 tons of fittings in two months. The volume of production in the first month was 32,100 tons, and in the second month was 51,300 tons.

According to the report, the volume of steel ingots produced by the company exceeded 165,000 tons in two months. About 81,700 tons of steel ingots were produced in the first month, and 83,700 tons in the second month.

“More than 7,000 tons of steel rails were produced in two months. The volume of production was 1,200 tons in the first month and 5,800 tons in the second month,” the report said.

The company's production of other products amounted to 7,850 tons in two months. In the first month, this production was 6,150 tons, and in the second month was 1,700 tons.

Iran's Esfahan Steel Company is located in Isfahan Province. The company's products are exported to more than 23 countries. The company produces more than 3.6 million tons of steel and steel products a year.
