A total of 4.69 million tons of products were loaded and unloaded at the Shahid Rajaee port of Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).
According to the report, within three months, 2.8 million tons of products were loaded and 1.88 million tons of products were unloaded at the port.
“During this period, 2.14 million tons of products were exported and 467,000 tons of products were imported through the port,” the report noted.
“As many as 77,800 tons of products were loaded and 125,000 tons were unloaded for transit through the Shahid Rajaee port during 3 months, the report said.
According to the report, 502,000 tons of products were loaded and 1.16 million tons of products were unloaded at the port for cabotage within the period.
During 3 months, 80,100 tons of products were loaded and 108,000 tons were unloaded for transshipment.
About 103 tons of products were loaded and 16,800 tons were unloaded for other purposes.
In total, 5.45 million tons of products were loaded and 4.2 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports.
About 4.29 million tons of products were exported through Iranian ports in three months. During this period, 2.27 million tons of products were imported through Iranian ports.
