New company in Iran's West Azerbaijan Province launched

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 23

The Iranian Urmia Food Industry Company in the West Azerbaijan Province (northwestern Iran) has been commissioned, Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran.

More than 1.7 trillion rials (about $ 40.4 million) was spent on the establishment of company, according to the report.

The company will produce non-citrus juice, fruit, puree and tomatoes.

“With the commissioning of this company, 160 people were employed,” the report added.

The deputy ministers of Industry, Mine and Trade and some of province’s officials attended the event dedicated to commissioning of the company.

According to the report, the deputy ministers of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran got acquainted with the activities (production increase and product exports and etc.) of the Namakaran Hezareh 3rd Company in the West Azerbaijan Province.

“The company produces 2,000 tons of aluminum and glass facades per year,” the report noted

In addition, the company spent 17.4 trillion rials (about $414 million) to increase production and 35 people were employed, the report added.
