Gold output increases in Kazakhstan year-on-year

Manufacturing volume of non-processed and semi-processed silver in Kazakhstan has amounted to 576,612 kg over first seven months of 2020, which is 3.3 percent more than during the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

According to the data, non-processed and semi-processed silver production amounted to 89,565 kg in July 2020, which is 3.2 percent more than in July 2019.

Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed gold increased by 7.8 percent during the reporting months having amounted to 53,865 kg (9,355 kg in July 2020, increase by 2.4 percent compared to July 2019).

Production of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide amounted to 962,317 tons during the reporting period, which indicates a decrease by 0.5 percent compared to the same period of last year. The production volume of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide was 144,527 tons in July 2020, which is 1.9 percent more than in July 2019.

Manufacturing of non-processed refined lead amounted to 78,834 tons over the reporting period, which is 0.9 percent less than during the same period of 2019. The volume of non-processed refined lead produced in July 2020 was 10,581 tons, which is 9.7 percent less than in July 2019.

Production of non-processed zinc amounted to 187,846 tons, which is 2.3 percent less than during the same period of 2019 (26,115 tons in July 2020, down by 8 percent compared to July 2019).

As reported, manufacturing of non-processed non-alloyed refined copper amounted to 287,584 tons, which is 6.6 percent more than during the same period of 2019 (38,730 tons in July 2020, decrease by 9.8 percent compared to July 2019).

Manufacturing of other non-ferrous metals and products from them amounted to 28,130 tons, which is 6.4 percent less than during the same period of 2019 (2,068 tons in July 2020, decrease by 53.7 percent compared to July 2019).
