Two industrial enterprises worth 1.07 trillion rials (about $25.4 million) were put into operation in the Zanjan Province (western Iran) as a part of the government week (August 23-29), chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Zanjan Province Nasser Faghfouri, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
Faghfouri stressed that a total of 80 people were employed at these two enterprises.
The chairman noted that the Zangan Tadbir Farayand Kar plant will produce 36,000 tons of sulfuric acid a year.
Faghfouri said that 450 billion rials (about $10.7 million) have been invested in the enterprise and 35 people have been employed.
According to the chairman, Zangan Kimia-Noavaran will produce 81,000 tons of sulfuric acid a year.
“About 620 billion rials (about $14.7 million) has been invested in the enterprise and 45 people have been employed,” he said.
