The export volume of leading state-owned companies in the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan amounted to $240 million from January through July 2020, which is 33 percent less than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the monthly Export Review.
The Marketing and Economic Operations Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) ranked first in export operations among state-owned companies involved in the country’s non-oil sector. SOCAR’s department is followed by Azerenerji OJSC, AzerGold CJSC, Azeraluminum LLC, Azerpambig LLC, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC, Azerbaijan Thermal Power Plant LLC, Azertutun LLC, State Energy Service of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and also Surakhani Machine-Building Plant.
Below is a ranking of state-owned companies that entered the TOP-10 in terms of export volumes for the first seven months of 2020:
