In 2020, 567 tons of peaches and nectarines were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan, Trend reports via the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
In terms of export volume, Azerbaijan ranks third in the list of countries to which Georgia exports peaches and nectarines.
As of September 3, 24,240 tons of peaches and nectarines were exported from Georgia, which is 11,208 tons more than in the same period last year.
Export of Georgian peaches and nectarines by country is as follows: Russia - 15,809 tons; Azerbaijan - 567 tons; Kazakhstan - 112.9 tons; Ukraine - 111.5 tons; Poland - 111.5 tons; Moldova - 89.6 tons; Slovenia - 57.3 tons; Singapore - 0.14 tons; Qatar - 0.01 tons; Xianggang (Hong Kong) - 0.06 tons.
