Iran's Esfahan Steel Company reveals its production data

The Iranian Esfahan Steel Company produced about 1.32 million tons of various types of products during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

According to the report, the company produced about 383,000 tons of iron girders for 6 months. While in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 22-September 21, 2020), the company's iron girder production amounted to 78,200 tons.

“The Esfahan Steel Company produced about 259,000 tons of fittings in six months. While in the 6th month the production amounted 41,800 tons,” the report said.

In addition, the company produced 7,700 tons of strip steel over the 6 months. However, this production amounted to 3,000 tons in the 6th month, the report added.

According to the report, the Esfahan Steel Company produced 447,000 tons of steel ingots within six months. While in the 6th month, the production of steel ingots amounted to 59,000 tons.

“At the same time, the company produced 27,600 tons of rails for 6 months. Whereas rail production was about 5,000 tons in the 6th month,” the report noted.
