Azerbaijan exported products totaling $10.5 billion from January through September 2020, which is 28.8 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing a report of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.
The share of the public sector in exports amounted to $5.28 billion, or 49.9 percent of the total export. At the same time, the private sector’s share in exports amounted to $5.24 billion, or 49.62 percent of the total export. Individuals’ exports amounted to $41.7 million.
In total, Azerbaijan exported 2,722 and imported 7,235 units of goods, conducting foreign trade operations with 178 partner countries. During 9M2020, most of all, Azerbaijan exported oil and petroleum products, electricity, fruits, and vegetables, as well as chemical products.
