To develop domestic production, a 4th panel on the issue will be organized in Iran in the current Iranian year (began March 20, 2020), said Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, Mehdi Sadeghi Niaraki, Trend reports citing the ministry.
Sadeghi Niaraki noted that thus, some equipment and goods worth about 245 million euro will be manufactured domestically.
The deputy minister added that a number of contracts will be signed in the panel for domestic production of goods. Thus, a contract will be signed in petrochemical sector for production of 60 million euro worth of goods and another contract in oil refining sector for production of goods worth 60 million euro.
“In addition, the contracts will also signed to manufacture 63 million euro worth of equipment domestically in household appliances sector and 42 million worth in automotive industry sector,” he said.
Sadeghi Niaraki stressed that so far, 11 panels have been organized in Iran to develop domestic production with the production of equipment and products worth 1.03 billion euro.
According to the deputy minister, these panels were held for the domestic manufacturing of equipment for the automotive industry, telecommunications, medical and mining sectors.
