The Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan and the Turkish JFC Enerji Yatirim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. that specializes in the development and production of food, cosmetics, textiles, and construction products by processing industrial hemp signed a memorandum of understanding for $229.6 million, Trend reports citing the ministry.

Industrial hemp is one of the fastest-growing crops. The yield of cellulose per hectare is four times higher than that of cotton. Industrial cannabis reaches 2-3 meters in 110 days and can be harvested several times in one season.

In Europe, industrial hemp is widely used in the automotive industry, not to mention the light industry. Since hemp is an organic raw material that is also a powerful antiseptic, it is widely used in construction.

The UK government even in 2009 opened a program for the construction of "hemp houses". The walls of these houses were made of lime and hemp. The government stated that this will help to reduce the cost of housing production and improve the quality of life of the population.

At the same time, in Germany hemp is placed as bedding under laminate and parquet flooring, and facades are also insulated with it. In addition, the seeds and oil from this product are used in cosmetology and medicine.
