Iran's Bonab Steel Industry Complex increased its production volume by 40 percent and its exports by 30 percent during the first 7 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, the Executive Director of the complex Babak Alizad Shahir said, Trend reports citing the complex’s website.
According to him, a total of 485,000 tons of goods were produced in Iran in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019, to March 20, 2020).
He added that 269,000 tons of produced goods were sold. Thus, 236,000 tons of the complex's goods were sold within the country, and 33,000 tons were exported.
Shahir noted that the complex will produce 760,000 tons of rolling and 436,000 tons of molten steel products in the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, to March 21, 2021).
Iran's Bonab Steel Industry Complex is operating under the auspices of Iran's Tourism Financial Group. The complex produced several steel products.
