Russia's Trubodetal Manufacturing Facility (is the part of United Metallurgical Company) has supplied products to Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern for the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan - Pakistan-India (TAPI) international gas pipeline, Trend reports with reference to the Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.
Trubodetal, delivered 960 tons of connecting parts of pipelines for the international TAPI gas pipeline for four months of 2020.
Together with the Vyksa Steel Works, which is also the part of United Metallurgical Company, Trubodetal facility shipped the connecting pipes a month earlier.
As earlier the Russian Ministry of Agriculture told Trend, The trade turnover increased almost 2 times in 1H2020, compared to the same period in 2019, and amounted to $87 million.
In general, the ministry noted that foreign trade between Russia and Turkmenistan is developing successfully.
In general, the intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation and its high-level group on trade and investment support an important role in the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
About 30 agreements were signed between the countries to develop trade and economic cooperation.
Trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan, which is the most important component of bilateral relations, is characterized by multidimensional and progressive development.
