Iran to launch several facilities in Kermanshah Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 23

As many as 11 industrial facilities will be commissioned in the Kermanshah Province (western Iran) in the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through March 21, 2021), said Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, Mehdi Sadeghi Niaraki, Trend reports citing the ministry.

He made the remark in the opening ceremony of the Sina plant, which produces plastic bottles for carbonated drinks.

The deputy minister stressed that 35 trillion rials (about $833 million) has been spent on the construction of these facilities, so far. In addition, 1,000 people will be employed with the launch of the facilities.

Niaraki added that the Sina Plant was launched with an investment of 20 trillion rials (about $476 million). This plant can produce 12,000 tons of boxes a year.

“Furthermore, the restoration of the activities of 55 industrial enterprises in Iran's Kermanshah province is planned,“ he said.

The deputy minister noted that so far, the activities of 22 mining enterprises and 28 industrial enterprises have been restored in the province.
