Iran exported 9.2 tons of medical masks worth about $206,000 during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 20 - November 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (TCCIMA).
According to the report, furthermore, Iran imported 132 tons of medical masks worth $16.6 million over the reporting period.
“So, Iran exported 2.57 tons of masks worth $68,900 to Oman, 2.9 tons worth $59,400 to Afghanistan, 1.82 tons worth $34,000 to Kuwait and 1 ton worth $24,000 to Azerbaijan,” the report said.
At the same time, Iran also exported 956 kg of medical masks worth $19,500 to a number of other countries, the report said.
According to the report, Iran imported 127 tons of medical masks worth $16.2 million from China, 2.19 tons worth $210,000 from the UAE, 1.77 tons worth $122,000 from Hong Kong and 200 kg worth $226 from Afghanistan.
