The largest amount of grain from the Stavropol Krai was sent to Azerbaijan in 2020, Trend reports citing the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Stavropol Krai and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
According to the press service, 270,900 tons of grain were sent to Azerbaijan from the Stavropol in 2019.
At the same time, more than 382,000 tons of grain were shipped from the Stavropol to 16 importing countries in 2020.
The largest amount of grain was sent to Azerbaijan. Some 48,400 tons were sent to Georgia, 48,900 tons - to Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, and 13,900 tons - to other countries, said the report.
“More than 2,300 tons of grain were sent to the ports of the Krasnodar Krai, Rostov and Astrakhan regions, as well Dagestan for the purpose of subsequent export. Since the beginning of 2021, about 20,000 tons of grain have been shipped abroad and to the regions of Russia,” Rosselkhoznadzor said.
