North Kazakhstan, Czech Republic eye joint projects in fishing, animal husbandry

Head of the North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov discussed the development of the fishing industry and animal husbandry, genetics, production of cars, and special equipment with Czech Republic’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan Rudolf Hykl, Trend reports citing the regional akimat.

During the meeting held within the framework of the ambassador’s meeting to the region, the parties discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation. The North Kazakhstan region attracts foreign businessmen with a favorable investment climate, which is facilitated by the Qyzyljar special economic zone and a loyal tax system, the head of the region noted.

Aksakalov offered a number of business ideas for Czech entrepreneurs to the Ambassador. The offered ideas included the development of the fishing industry and animal husbandry, genetics, the production of cars, and special equipment.

He noted that North Kazakhstan currently focuses on the production of environmentally friendly food and the region is ready to work on the production and export of natural food to other states.

In turn, the ambassador noted that the Czech Republic intends to strengthen economic ties with the North Kazakhstan region by implementing joint business projects.
