Iran's exports to Kazakhstan shrink

Iran's exports to Kazakhstan decreased by 1 percent in terms of value and 48 percent in terms of volume during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through February 18, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the statistics of Tehran Chamber of Commerce Industries Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA).

According to the statistics, Iran exported 279,000 tons of goods worth $146 million to Kazakhstan in 11 months.

Furthermore, Iran imported 88,000 tons of goods worth $36 million from Kazakhstan over the reporting period.

“The imports of Iran from Kazakhstan decreased by 63 percent in terms of value and volume compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the statistics said.

Reportedly, Iran's non-oil exports amounted to 103 million tons worth about $31.2 billion within the first 11 months. Moreover, Iran imported 30.8 million tons of goods worth $34.3 billion during the mentioned period.
