The machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers worth 33.1 million manat ($19.4 million) were produced in Azerbaijan from January through February 2021, Trend reports on Mar.29, citing data from the State Statistics Committee.
Thus, the manufacturing value of the products increased by 2 times compared to the same period of 2020.
According to the committee, in the reporting period, 216 passenger cars were produced in Azerbaijan against 480 in 2M2020.
Azerbaijan's GDP amounted to 72.4 billion manat ($42.6 billion) in 2020, which is by 4.3 percent less than in 2019.
