Iran's LPG exports decreases

The exports of Iran’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) decreased by 60.1 percent in terms of value and 52.6 percent in terms of volume in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021), compared to the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019, through March 19, 2020), Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

According to the statistics, Iran exported 12.1 million tons of LPG worth $2.65 billion last Iranian year.

“The LPG exports accounted for 7.57 percent of Iran's total exports in terms of value and 10.7 percent in terms of volume last Iranian year,” the statistics said.

While in the preceding Iranian year, Iran's LPG exports amounted to 25.7 million tons worth $6.64 billion, the statistics said.

According to the statistics, 10 products worth $13.7 billion accounted for 39 percent of Iran's total exports worth about $35 billion.

Reportedly, Iran's total foreign trade turnover amounted to about 146 million tons worth $73 billion in the last Iranian year. During this period, Iran exported 112 million tons of goods worth about $35 billion and imported 33.4 million tons worth $38.4 billion.
