Iran to create infrastructures in industrial parks of Qazvin Province

About 50 plans will be implemented in Iran to create infrastructures in the industrial parks of Qazvin Province (northern Iran) in the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), chairman of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization’s (ISIPO) branch in Qazvin Province Hamid Reza Khanpour said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

Khanpour said that 2 trillion rials (about $47.6 million) is to be spent on the establishment of infrastructure.

He added that important plans will be implemented in the province, such as the establishment of a sewage filtration center in the Khorramdasht industrial park, gas supply to the Qazvin industrial park, and electricity supply to the Caspian industrial park.

The chairman noted that also, a number of measures will be carried out to strengthen the electricity and water systems in various industrial parks.

According to Khanpour, 60 plans were implemented to create infrastructures in industrial parks of the Qazvin Province last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021).

As reported, there are about 20 industrial parks in Iran's Qazvin Province. About 1,000 manufacturing enterprises operate in these industrial parks.

A total of 39 trillion rials (about $928 million) have been invested in the industrial parks of the Qazvin Province from March 20, 2020 through January 7, 2021.
