Export of vinyl chloride polymers from EAEU to Turkmenistan increased

The export of vinyl chloride polymers to Turkmenistan from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) increased by 88.2 percent from January through February 2021, Trend reports, citing statistics from the Eurasian Economic Commission.

During the reporting period, the exporter of vinyl chloride polymers was Russia. In particular, Russia exported 75.85 tons of vinyl chloride polymers to Turkmenistan, for a total amount of $80,997, which is also 2 times higher than the export price of similar products from January through February 2020.

Also from January through February 2021, 2.97 tons of acrylic polymers were exported to Turkmenistan, for a total amount of $13,068.

The country exporting acrylic polymers to Turkmenistan was Kazakhstan.

Also, during the reporting period, Russia was an exporter of 2.8 tons of polyamides to Turkmenistan, in the amount of $5,320.

Russia was the main supplier of polymer products from the countries of the EAEU Turkmenistan from January through November of 2020.

During the reporting period, 21.7 tons of ethylene polymer were exported from Russia to Turkmenistan for a total amount of $27,501.

Also, from January through November 2020, Russia exported over 1 ton of propylene polymer to Turkmenistan for a total amount of $4,756.
