Kazakhstan’s Kainar – AKB is planning to launch plant for manufacturing rechargeable batteries in West Kazakhstan region, Trend reports citing the company.
The plant’s capacity will be 1.2 million pieces of lead acid batteries, and the planned investment volume is around $40 million. The plant construction is to be launched in 2Q2022, whereas the plant’s launch is planned for 1Q2023.
The goods manufactured at the future plant will be supplied to the Europe. The construction of the new plant will reduce the delivery time and the cost of logistics.
The company Kainar - AKB is a domestic manufacturer of storage batteries, and it is in the Register of domestic commodity producers of Samruk-Kazyna Holding Company, and is also a member of the International Union of Battery Manufacturers Interbat.
To date, LLP Kainar-AKB is an enterprise firmly on its feet, with a developed economy and a complete production of batteries.
