Turkmenistan and Serbia have agreed to develop a draft roadmap for bilateral cooperation, which will include a list of specific measures aimed at further developing a multifaceted partnership, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This was stated during the online meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selaković.
The two countries are focused on further close cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic and humanitarian fields, noted the ministers.
In particular, the parties confirmed the commitment to development of economic cooperation in such areas as trade, the textile industry and the gas chemical sector.
The need to intensify contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries was noted out.
Earlier, Serbia and Turkmenistan planed to cooperate in the agro-industrial sector.
Also, there was a mutual interest in strengthening the interstate dialogue, and the presence of significant potential and opportunities for effective cooperation was noted.
