Almost 71 percent of Azerbaijani CEOs believe in global economic growth in 2021, PwC Azerbaijan (PricewaterhouseCoopers) Country Managing Partner Movlan Pashayev said, Trend reports.
Pashayev made the remark at a press conference on the presentation of the fourth annual PwC CEO survey on Azerbaijan.
The PwC representative called this indicator fairly good.
“Since early 2021, we have conducted the fourth survey among CEOs of companies in Azerbaijan, and the majority of respondents believe that the growth rate of the global economy will improve in 2021,” Pashayev said.
According to Pashayev, this survey covered the management of 120 companies, which is a record figure.
“PwC managing partner noted that another 17 percent of those surveyed expect the growth rate of the global economy to remain unchanged this year. Five percent of respondents are confident that the growth rate of the global economy will slow down in 2021,” the expert added.
