Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed silver in Kazakhstan amounted to 512,455 kg over the period from January through June 2021, which is 5.2 percent more than during the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

According to the data, non-processed and semi-processed silver production amounted to 74,150 kg in June 2021, which is 20.6 percent less than in June 2020.

Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed gold increased by 9.6 percent during the reporting period, having amounted to 55,526 kg (8,568 kg in June 2021, a decrease by 6 percent compared to June 2020).

Production of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide amounted to 786,932 tons during the reporting period, which indicates a decrease of 3.8 percent compared to the same period of last year.

The production volume of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide was 122,565 tons in June 2021, which is 11.8 percent less that in June 2020.

Manufacturing of non-processed refined lead amounted to 55,235 tons over the reporting period, which is 14.1 percent less than during the same period of 2020. The volume of non-processed refined lead produced in June 2021 was 6,143 tons, which is 54.9 percent less than in June 2020.

Production of non-processed zinc amounted to 161,965 tons, which is 2.6 percent more than during the same period of 2020 (32,658 tons in June 2021, up by 11.8 percent compared to June 2020).

As reported, the manufacturing of non-processed non-alloyed refined copper amounted to 244,120 tons, which is 1.1 percent less than during the same period of 2020 (36,368 tons in June 2021, which is 8.2 percent less than in June 2020).

Manufacturing of other non-ferrous metals and products from them amounted to 17,292 tons, which is 32.2 percent less than during the same period of 2020 (3,402 tons in June 2021, up by 1.6 percent compared to June 2020).
