Azerbaijan’s export to Switzerland has grown in value during the first six months of 2021, Trend reports with reference to the statistical bulletin of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
According to the bulletin, this indicator amounted to $117.56 million which is by 22.4 percent more than from January to June of last year.
Thus, Switzerland's share in total Azerbaijani export reached 1.33 percent against 1.25 percent recorded in 1H2020.
In the first half of this year, imports of Swiss products to Azerbaijan exceeded $46 million, while Switzerland's share in total Azerbaijani imports increased by 0.06 percent over the year to 0.86 percent.
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Switzerland in the reporting period amounted to almost $164 million.
Meanwhile, the balance of foreign trade turnover between the countries remained positive at the level of $71.14 million.
Totally, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover in the first half of 2021 amounted to $14.2 billion, including exports - $8.8 billion (62.04 percent), and imports - $5.39 billion (37.96 percent).
