Copper ores and concentrates reclaimed first place in the list of top export items in Georgia from January through July 2021, equaling $465.9 million with 20.5 percent of total exports, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The exports of motor cars totaled $248.3 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 10.9 percent.
The ferroalloys exports occupied the third-place standing at $228.5 million and constituting 10 percent of the total exports.
The top import commodities from January through July 2021 were motor cars whose imports equaled $461.8 million (8.9 percent of the total imports).
The petroleum and petroleum oils followed in the list with $405 million (7.8 percent of imports).
The copper ores and concentrates were third in the top import commodity list with $395.6 million (7.6 percent of imports).
