Azerbaijan’s export value of fertilizers has considerably increased from January to July 2021, Trend reports referring to the statistical bulletin of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
According to the bulletin, this indicator exceeded $22.7 million, which is three times more than from January to July 2020.
The products’ share in a total volume of export from Azerbaijan in the first seven months of this year made up 0.2 percent compared to 0.08 percent in the first seven months of 2020.
Meanwhile, the value of fertilizers’ import to Azerbaijan decreased by $23.6 million (41.3 percent) on annual basis, amounting to $33.7 million. Their share in a total volume of imports to the country equaled 0.53 percent, down from 0.97 percentage points year on year.
Overall, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover from January to July 2021 made up nearly $17.7 billion. Of these, exports accounted for $11.39 billion (64.4 percent), and imports - $6.3 billion (35.6 percent).
