As many as 41 industrial facilities for the production of detergents (shampoo, liquid detergent, washing powder, and so on) are under construction in the Zanjan Province (western Iran), Chairman of Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of Zanjan Province Nasser Faghfouri said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
According to Faghfouri, in this regard, 4.82 trillion rials (about $115 million) will be invested and 976 people will be employed.
“With the launch of these facilities, more than 15 million tons of detergents will be produced in the province per year,” he added.
The chairman also noted that there are currently 14 facilities operating on detergent production in Zanjan Province. A total of 783 people work at these facilities.
Faghfouri stressed that a total of 4.22 trillion rials (about $100 million) has been spent on the facilities and more than 1 million tons of detergents are produced annually.
