The car manufacturing of Iran Khodro Industrial Group decreased by 1.74 percent, during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2021 through January 20, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.
According to the report, Iran Khodro manufactured a total of 381,321 cars in 10 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 388,094.
Within 10 months, the Iran Khodro manufactured 254,875 units Peugeot, 41,940 units Samand, 42,499 units Dena, 29,366 units Runna, 5,466 units Haima, 7,059 units Tara, 103 units Peugeot 2008 and 13 units Arisun cars.
In addition, Iran Khodro Automaker Company manufactured 55,764 cars in the 10th month of the current Iranian year (December 22, 2021 through January 20, 2022).
Reportedly, three giant Iranian automakers (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) manufactured 760,527 cars in the first 10 months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 4.11 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, these companies had manufactured about 730,477 cars in the same period last Iranian year.
