The export value of Iran's oil and non-oil export reached $39 billion during the first ten months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021), the secretary of the Iranian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products Exporters' Union (OPEX) Hamid Hosseini told Trend in an interview.

"The monthly export of oil and non-oil export was $3.9 billion. The export of downstream oil products is predicted to increase by $12 billion and reach $46 billion in the new Iranian year (starts March 21, 2022)," he explained.

The official has indicated that the export of downstream oil products has already increased about $10-$12 billion in the current year compared to last year.

"The export value of urea, ammonium, and bitumen has doubled during this period while the export volume had little growth," he noted.

The export volume of petrochemical products such as LNG has increased in the current year compared to the last year with 5 million tons of LNG being exported from Assalouyeh.
