BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. Iran manufactured a total of 917,843 various vehicles, during the first 11 months of the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through February 19, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
According to the statistics, this is an increase of 0.45 percent, compared to the same period preceding the Iranian year. The figure stood at 913,726 units in the same period preceding the Iranian year.
So, Iran manufactured 811,700 passenger cars in 11 months, which is a decrease of 2.1 percent, compared to the same preceding Iranian year. Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure amounted to 829,100 units.
“In addition, 72,937 pickups were manufactured in Iran over 11 months, which is a decrease of 2.4 percent, compared to the same period preceding the Iranian year. Pickup manufacturing amounted to 74,695 units in the same period preceding Iranian,” the statistics said.
According to the statistics, Iran has manufactured 2,250 buses, minibusses, and vans for the reporting period. This is an increase of 28.4 percent, compared to the same period preceding the Iranian year. Thus, the figure stood at 1,753 in the same period preceding the Iranian year.
Within 11 months, Iran also manufactured 10,056 trucks and trailers, which is an increase of 70.3 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, manufacturing was 5,904 in the same period last Iranian year.
Also, 624 combine harvesters were manufactured in the country over 11 months. Combine harvester manufacturing increased by 5.6 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the manufacturing amounted to 591 units.
According to statistics, Iran manufactured 20,276 tractors within the mentioned period, which is an increase of 2.1 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, 19,863 tractors had been manufactured in the country in the same period last Iranian year.
