Iran's IFB to provide marketplace for startups, small businesses

TEHRAN, Iran, March 28. The CEO of Iran's over-the-counter exchange market, known as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB), Meisam Fadaei announced the IFB decision to provide a marketplace for startups, small businesses and knowledge-based companies to sell ownership shares directly to qualified investors, Trend reports citing IRNA.

Recently, decision-makers are reaching a consensus to admit start-ups and increase the share of intangible assets in the development of the economy.

Fadaei said the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) has announced the requirements for startups to be listed on the Iran Fara Bourse (IFB).

The CEO of IFB stated that the process of an initial public offering of Tapsi Company shares via stock exchange has been done in IFB.

Tapsi Company is among the major mobile transportation platform in Iran, along with Snap.

Iran Fara Bourse Co. (IFB), also known as Farabourse, is an exchange for securities and other financial instruments in Tehran, Iran which operates under the official supervision of the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO).
