BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 16. Iran's non-oil exports increased by 39 percent in value and 10 percent in volume in last winter (December 22, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the previous winter, the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.
The spokesman said that Iran has exported a total of 30.4 million tons of goods worth about $13.5 billion for the reporting period.
Latifi also added that the country’s non-oil exports for last winter increased by 1 percent in value, while decreased by 5 percent in volume compared to last autumn (September 23 through December 21, 2021).
“In total, Iran's trade turnover for the winter amounted to 41.5 million tons worth $29.5 billion. This is an increase of 37 percent in value and 14 percent in volume compared to the previous winter,” he said.
According to the official, at the same time, the trade turnover in winter increased by 9 percent in value, while decreased by 4 percent in volume compared to autumn.
In general, Iran's trade turnover amounted to 164 million tons worth about $102 billion, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022).
