BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Pension savings of contributors (recipients) amounted to 12.9 trillion ($29.8 billion) as of May 1 in Kazakhstan, having decreased by 40 billion tenge ($92.3 million), or by 0.3 percent, Trend reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

The net revenue from investing into pension savings has decreased by 170.1 billion tenge ($392.8 million) over April, amounting to 7.03 trillion tenge ($16.2 billion) as of May 1, 2022.

The number of individual pension accounts of contributors for compulsory pension amounted to 10.9 million accounts as of May 1, 2022. The amount of pension payments amounted to 34.6 billion tenge ($79.9 million) in April 2022.

The main share of the total investment portfolio of Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) as of May 1, 2022 accounts for government securities and non-government securities of issuers (41.2 percent and 22.5 percent of total pension assets, respectively).

Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) carries out its activities strictly within the framework determined by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Fund aims to maintain high standards of corporate governance, regularly publishes information on the state of depositors accounts and its current financial condition in open information sources.
