BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 3. Iran's exports to Oman increased by 80 percent in value, during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI), Alireza Peymanpak said at a meeting on August 3, 2022, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

The deputy minister said that the value of Iran's exports to Oman for the reporting period amounted to $415 million.

Peymanpak added that the figure will reach $1 billion by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2023).

“A number of steps are being taken in the direction of increasing Iran's product exports to Oman. Examples of these steps include launching a new shipping line between Iran and Oman, mutual visits of trade delegations with the coordination of the chambers of commerce of the two countries, mutually studying the trade of the two countries, organizing special exhibitions between the two countries, and etc.,” he noted.
