BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 21. In total, about 42,300 tons of agricultural products worth more than $50 million were exported from Iran’s Fars Province in the south of the country, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), Director of the Agricultural Department of Fars Province Samad Ranjbari said, Trend reports citing IANA News Agency.
According to Ranjbari, the value of agricultural exports from the province increased by 28 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
The director added that the main exported agricultural products were dried fruits and livestock products.
“The province’s agricultural products were exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany, Türkiye, Pakistan, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE,” he said.
