BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 28. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Gilan Province in the north of the country, increased by 18 percent in value and 1 percent in value, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Supervisor of Gilan Province Customs Office Sadegh Barzegar told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to him, in total, more than 829,000 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $585 million were exported through the customs of Gilan Province in 9 months.

Barzegar added that the main exported non-oil products were mining minerals, copper wire, chemical products, rubber, food products, etc.

“The mentioned goods via the province’s customs were mainly exported to neighboring countries, including Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Turkmenistan and Belarus,” he said.
