BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24. Iran exported goods worth $47.5 million to four European countries during the first three months of this year, said the Director General of the International Customs Cooperation Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Omid Golzari, Trend reports.
He noted that the four European countries include Spain, Italy, France, and the Netherlands.
According to Golzari, Spain primarily imports saffron, pistachios, pistachio nuts, polyethylene, hot water industrial boilers, foundry products, and radiators from Iran. The total value of Iran's exports to Spain during the first three months of this year reached $16 million.
Furthermore, Iran's main export products to Italy include foundry products, leather, saffron, and pistachio nuts, and the value of Iran's exports to Italy in the first three months of this year amounted to $18.5 million.
Additionally, Iran mainly exports to France dried grapes, pistachio nuts, and marble. The total value of Iran's exports to France during the first three months of this year reached $2 million.
Golzari further discussed Iran's primary export commodities to the Netherlands, which included molybdenum, ferrosilis, fats, animal oils, extra dates, dried grapes, saffron, black tea (fermented), watermelon, juice, and licorice extract. The value of Iran's exports to the Netherlands in the first three months of this year amounted to $11 million.
