BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Isfahan Province increased by 17 percent in value and 18 percent in volume during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2023), compared with the same time last year, Director General for Isfahan Province Customs Office Rasoul Kuhestani said, Trend reports.
According to him, 1.19 million tons of non-oil products worth over $785 million were exported via the province’s customs for six months.
“In general, 476 types of products, including iron, steel, petrochemical products, dairy products, and carpets, were exported through the province's customs within the specified period,” the director general added.
Kuhestani noted that the mentioned goods were exported to 81 countries, mainly Iraq, Pakistan, Türkiye, Afghanistan, and the UAE.
Overall, Iran exported 55.9 million tons of non-oil products worth $19.3 billion during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2023). This is an increase of 26.5 percent in value and a decrease of 8.55 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
