BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. Iran’s Khouzestan Oxin Steel Company, which produces various steel sheets for different industries, has achieved remarkable growth in its production in the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2023), Trend reports.
The company’s Executive Director Ali Mohammadi revealed some of the impressive statistics that show the company’s performance and efficiency.
Mohammadi noted that the company produced 407,000 tons of steel sheets in the first six months of this year, which is a 33-percent increase from the production of 306,000 tons in the same period of the previous year. This means that the company’s production grew by 101,000 tons in just six months.
The director praised the company’s staff and management for their hard work and dedication, especially in summer when there were some challenges in the supply of electricity.
He said that the company registered a record number in its production in six months, despite difficulties.
Khouzestan Oxin Steel Company is one of the largest and most modern steel sheet producers in Iran. The company was established in 2005 and is located on a 160-hectare area in Khuzestan province. The company produces various types of steel sheets, such as hot rolled, cold rolled, galvanized, pre-painted, and tin-plated sheets, which are used in the oil, gas, petrochemical and marine industries.
The company has a production capacity of 1.05 million tons per year and an average output of 700,000 tons of steel sheets per year.
