BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 1. Iranian Isfahan Province’s imports increased by 8 percent in value and 12 percent in volume in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023), compared with the same time last year, Director General for Isfahan Province Customs Office Rasoul Kuhestani said, Trend reports.
According to him, a total of 71,000 tons of goods worth $365 million were imported to the province over seven months.
The official added that the main imported goods to Isfahan Province were various spares parts, equipment, raw materials, etc.
Kuhestani also said that these products were mainly imported from China, the UAE, Türkiye, Germany, and Italy.
Overall, Iran imported 20.9 million tons of goods worth $36 billion in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023).
This is an increase of 12.6 percent in value and 6.21 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
